History & Legacy

Foundation - 1964

Founded in 1964 under the Erattupetta Muslim Residential Girls High School Committee led by visionaries including Janab M.K. Kochumakkar, Janab T.H. Meerannan Rawther, Janab V.K. Pareth, Janab M.K. Sadhu Kutty, Janab M. Abdul Khade, and Janab M.Fareed M.A, BL. The school was established to provide quality education for girls in a supportive environment, beginning in a modest room near the Erattupetta Co-operative Bank.

Growth & Milestones

Upgraded to Higher Secondary in 1991, the school now offers Classes 5–12 across 44 divisions with over 1,800 students, 77 teachers, and 8 staff. Key achievements include the Safiya Hajumma IT Block (supported by Padmasree M.A. Yusuff Ali) and the Women Empowerment Block (supported by Shri Azad Moopan). The school has celebrated Silver Jubilee (1988–89), Golden Jubilee (2014), and Diamond Jubilee (2024).

Current Leadership

The school is managed by the Muslim Educational Trust ( Regd.) since 2001. Trustees are elected for a term of 4 years and the Board of Trustees which also acts as the school managing committee

The school is managed by the Muslim Educational Trust (Regd.) since 2001 under the Indian Trusts Act. The managing committee became a formal trust with dedicated leadership ensuring continued excellence.
